Beginners Welcome!
This game is relatively quick to teach. At any of our Draft and Sealed events, we will teach you how to play if you are brand new to the game! Some past card game experience is recommended if you try Draft or Sealed for the first time.
Learn to Play
For our Learn to Play events we will have Starter Decks ready to play. We'll walk you through each part of the rules answering questions throughout. For the Learn to Play event, no prior experience with any game is needed.
Sealed
During our sealed events, you will get six packs of Star Wars Unlimited. You will choose a leader out of your opened cards, and build a minimum 30 card deck from the cards you have opened. Use one of the leaders you opened – you can use any color base.
If none of that made any sense to you, don't worry, we'll explain it during the event!
Draft
In draft, you will get three packs of Star Wars Unlimited.
You and everyone else playing will open all three packs and grab just the leader out of each pack. (Don't look at the rest of the cards in the pack!) You will draft the leaders out of your packs passing to the right. Since everyone opened up 3 packs, you'll all end up with three leaders - one you opened, and two that other people passed to you.
Then, you will draft each pack individually, taking one card at a time then passing the remaining cards. Pack 1 will go to the left, Pack 2 to the right, and Pack 3 to the left.
Make sure to pick cards that are (more or less!) in your leaders colors.
After you have selected all cards from the packs, you will build a minimum 30 card deck. You will use play one of the leaders you drafted – you can use any color base.
Event Structure
We will pair you for each round for our Draft and Sealed events.

Learn to Play events are open play; we will have no official pairing, but we will find folks for you to play!
