In this workshop we will create fictional people and places for use in roleplaying games and interactive experiences like video games, LARPs, mystery parties, and escape rooms.

Create a vivid environment immerse your players and elevate your adventure into an exceptional experience. Each session covers concepts that build off each other. Each month we will present new material and exercises to work with. Come with a project you are already working on or start a new project with us.

Allies & Adversaries
In this exercise we will develop vivid characters with rich backstories and in-depth motivations. We will discuss how to use timelines to map movement and actions to events in your story.

Locations & Maps
In this exercise we will flesh out the history and lore of a location that exists in your world. We will discuss methods for creating symbols to identify key details and map events that may take place at this location in your story.

Curiosities
In this exercise we will flesh out the magic and mundane objects of your world. We will create the properties and uses of these objects. We will discuss how details can be revealed and mapped to your story to create opportunities for discovery and intrigue.
