Synopsis: When the evil Syndicate snatches a cosplayer after mistaking her for the anime hero Skye Hoshi, the real Skye must regain her lost powers and join forces with her nemesis Kira to rescue her biggest fan - while Atom and the band wage their own war at the battle of the bands.
Bio: Pure Magic Pictures (located right here in Williamsburg) is a small crew of geeks who love movies, love making them with friends, and love celebrating the fandom. We're your favorite film friends! Every movie is handcrafted with heart, detail and lots of easter eggs. On Friday 19th at the pride superhero event, we will be presenting Skye Hoshi: Anime Syndicate Strikes, a comedy fantasy about an anime girl who fell out of her poster into our world, and now the evil syndicate is after her. Enjoy the movie and stick around for the Q&A afterwards with writer/director Kalani Hubbard, Producer Stefanie Hubbard, and some of the lead cast! You don't need to have seen Skye Hoshi Vol 1 to enjoy this movie!
