Spotlight November 2021 | Family, Friends, & Fun
Twenty Sided Store has been bringing people together through games for over 10 years. This year we would like to celebrate the holiday season with new games to inspire new traditions.
Check out our Spotlight collection for the complete list of our favorite games for fun with friends and family this fall!
Quest
Quest is best with 5 or more players. It is the newest Social Deduction game in The Resistance and Avalon family. In this version of the game you belong to the Forces of Arthur and are aided by powerful magic and amulets as you go on quests to defeat evil. However evil lurks in every corner and you must be careful not to let the Minions of Mordred join your quest for you will surely fail!
Space Base
Space Base is a perfectly balanced light strategy game for 2-5 players. It is super easy to set up, making it a great after dinner game. The object of the game is to be the first to launch your spaceships. Every round you may purchase ships from the market to add to your base. Actions could trigger for every player ever turn and there are endless possibilities for managing your resources. This game adds a bit more complexity than Splendor, and plays similar to Machi Koro.
Dinosaur World
Dinosaur World is a worker placement strategy game for 2-4 players. You are trying to open up a new amusement park before the season opens… and be more successful than your competitors. However, you have not exactly safety-tested your park and you still need to hire people to gather DNA, clone new dinosaurs, and design new attractions. The art and design on this game is fantastic, there is even a beginner variant version of the rules to get you started!
Popcorn Dice
Popcorn Dice is a thoughtful press your luck dice game for 2-6 players. Using the Popcorn bucket, you will try to pop all your kernels into perfectly popped popcorn, trying not to burn the kernels. If you like Zombie Dice or Left Center Right, you’ll love this adorable new game!
Love Letter
Love Letter has been reprinted and has a couple amazing new additions – it now accommodates up to 6 players and has new illustrations by Andrew Bosley (Everdell and Citadels). This game comes in a small velvet pouch so you can put it in your pocket and take it with you everywhere you go. You can easily teach people how to play and rounds are super quick. The object of the game is to be the last person holding the love letter. You will try to outwit your opponents through clever gameplay, knocking someone out each round. Strategy is slightly different depending on the number of pliers you have, and plays just as well with 2 players.
