Under the Autumn Strangely is a storytelling game of pastoral horror priming with anachronistic Americana set in a land that Never Was.
Inspired by Over the Garden Wall by Patrick McHale, collaboratively create a world uncanny and old. Then take on one of Three Roles - The Traveler, The Arcadian and The Terror - to tell a story of people lost in an unknown rural place just beyond the realm of the familiar. The mechanics embrace tonal clash, empowering you to create and compete with one another in a push and pull to enact the tentative "reality" of the land that Never Was.
